CHRISTIAN Chukwu, former Super Eagles Coach and Technical Adviser of Rangers International of Enugu on Tuesday expressed optimism on the club’s chances of qualifying from Group B of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Chukwu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that Rangers would not leave any stone unturned until they scaled through the Group stages.

NAN reports that Rangers are grouped alongside CS Sfaxien, Etoile du Sahel and Salitas of Burkina Faso in Group B.

The NPFL side will be slugging it out against Salitas of Burkina Faso in their first Group match scheduled for February.

“We are preparing, already, for the next match against Salitas of Burkina Faso any time in February.

“Surely, with hard work and good planning, we will come out of the Group victorious,” he said.

Rangers qualified for the group stage after a 2-1 second leg win over Bantu FC of Lesotho in an encounter played on Jan. 20 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. (NAN)
