NIGERIAN House of Representatives on Thursday considered the proposed amendment to the 1999 Constitution upholding two important items which the Senate rejected.
The House approved the Devolution of Power proposal, which was rejected by the Senate on Wednesday.
This means that more powers will be given to the States in future.
Also, unlike the Senate, the House also approved the 35 per cent affirmative action as proposed by the Joint Committee of the National Assembly on the review of the 1999 Constitution.
