Aisha Buhari, wife of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, is advocating for a total lockdown of the country because of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Aisha, who made the call on Monday through her official twitter handle, said ” It is commendable that state governors have closed down schools; however, this could be counterproductive if parents are still going to work. We should not isolate students and expose their parents.

“Let us remember that they will meet at home. #TotalLockDown #StayAtHome”.

The first lady has also prayed for the son of Atiku Abubakar, former vice president of the country who tested positive to coronavirus and has been quarantined in a hospital.
