Coronavirus Pandemic
THE Government and people of Anambra State have appreciated the heroic efforts of the teams of health professionals working tirelessly to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
A statement by C. Don Adinuba, Commissioner for Information & Public Enlightenment, noted that their efforts are nothing short of sacrificial.
”To complement their efforts, the Anambra State Government is calling on medical doctors, nurses, laboratory scientists and technologists as well as pharmacists, who would like to join any of the teams of health professionals in the state to fight COVID-19 as volunteers.
“Interested persons are to contact the Ministry of Health at Jerome Udoji Secretariat, Awka. Or they may contact the administrative assistant to the Hon Commissioner for Health, Ms Chinyere Enike on 0806 339 8622 or 0901 599 3584.
“Let us continue to make Anambra State remain the Light of the Nation,” the commissioner said.
