Corronation/Birthday: Traditional rulers, others join Oba of Benin in thanksgiving service

THE Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, on Sunday concluded his birthday, coronation anniversary with thanksgiving to God and ancestors at the Benin foremost church, Holy Aruosa Cathedral.
The royal father, accompanied by his queens, royal family members, top palace chiefs and functionaries, took dance steps in adoration and thanks to almighty God and ancestors for the successful journey so far on the ancient throne of Omo N’Oba’s ancestors
The presiding priest of Holly Aruosa Cathedral, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, in a sermon, admonished worshipers to live right in all aspects of life according to the commandments of God.
Ohen-Osa Edebiri, emphasised that anyone who would attain the everlasting blessings and protection of almighty God, must deviate from hatred and other wicked acts towards one’s neighborhood.
While enjoining worshipers to shun decietful and corrupt habits, the head preist of the Benin National Church, stated that almighty God and ancestors would reward everyone according to his deeds at the end of this life .
NAN reports that different social cultural organisations and traditional rulers across the state attended the royal gathering.(NAN)
