THE Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers, on Monday, commended President Muhammadu Buhari for graciously approving two Federal educational institutions for the state.

The newly approved institutions to be established are: Federal Polytechnic, Ohodo, Enugu State and Federal Science and Technical College, Eke Town, Enugu State.

The Chairman of the council, Igwe Lawrence Agubuzu, made the remarks in a Letter of appreciation signed by him and made available to newsmen in Enugu.

According to Agubuzu, I write to express the appreciation of the Royal Fathers of Enugu State for your gracious approval.

“The establishment of the two institutions will go down in history as an enduring legacy of your administration in Enugu State.

“It also does underscore your belief in science and technology as a key to the development of Nigeria.

“We commend you, Mr President.

“We note that what you have done for our state, in this regard, is an encouragement to our governor, His Excellency, Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, in his determined drive to ensure even development of all parts of Enugu State.

“This, His Excellency, is doing in a peaceful atmosphere of `politics without rancour’ among our indigenes of different political persuasions,’’ the chairman said.
