THE Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital has reaffirmed the expulsion of Ann Nwanyibuife Agom-Eze from membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The court made this declaration on Tuesday in response to the suit number FHC/AI/CS/223/2022 filed by Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, Chairman APC, Ebonyi State Chapter, Nwitezi John Ejike; Acting Chairman, APC Umudomi Ward, Onicha Local Government Area, and All Progressives Congress, APC.

Presided over by the Hon. Justice F. O. Riman, the court restrained the defendant either herself, agents, servants, supporters or any other person acting for or on behalf of her from parading herself as a member of the party and the Senatorial Candidate of the APC for Ebonyi South Senatorial District in the forthcoming 2023 general elections pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit.

The court further banned her from using the name of APC in whatsoever form, including joining the APC in any civil or criminal proceedings in any court or joining any activities of the party by the fact of her expulsion from the party.
