A Grade I Area Court in Dei-dei, Abuja on Thursday ordered that three brothers, Mansir, Mukta and Musa Abdullahi be remanded in a correction centre for alleged criminal conspiracy.

The Judge, Mr Sulyman Ola, adjourned the matter until Nov.24 for hearing.

The police charged the defendants with criminal conspiracy and breach of trust.

They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Mr Babajide Olanipekun told the court that the complainant, Halima Musa reported the matter at the Area Command, Kubwa, Abuja on May 16.

Olanipekun alleged that the complainant entrusted her tricycle to Mansir to drive on hire purchase with an agreement to remit N6, 000 weekly.

The prosecution counsel said that Mansir conspired with his brothers and one Habibu Isiya, now at large and misappropriated the money.

The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections  79 and 312 of the Penal Code.

The defence counsel, Geraldine Amah made an oral bail application for the defendants pursuant to Section 36, subsection 5 of the 1999 Constitution, urging the court to grant them bail in the most liberal terms.(NAN)
