Court remands security man for allegedly sexually assaulting minor

A Magistrates’ Court in Badagry, Lagos State, ordered that a security man, Wusu Fasinu, who allegedly sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl be remanded in prison.
The police charged Fasinu,54, whose address was not provided, is charged with three counts of indecent assault, sexual assault and breach of peace.
Chief Magistrate Patrick Adekomaya, who gave the order, adjourned the case until April 2, for further hearing.
Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Akpan Ikem, told the court that the accused committed the offencs on Feb. 11, at about 7 a.m. at the Government College Ajara, Badagry.
Fasinu alleged that the accused conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace.
The prosecutor said that the offence, is punishable under the sections 259, 261 and 266 of criminal law of Lagos State, 2015 as amended.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. (NAN)
