The accused, Salako Medinat, 23, Azeez Abdulsamad, 23, and Nasirudeen Aranse, 25, are facing a three-count charge of obtaining by false pretence, stealing and conspiracy.
However, the pleas of the defendants were not taken by the court clerk.
The Magistrate, Mrs Module Awodele, ordered that the defendants be remanded and adjourned the matter until Nov. 23, for mention.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, ASP Abiodun Fagboyinbo, had told the court that the defendants committed the offence on Aug. 28 at Nipco Filling Station, Osogbo.
Abiodun said that the trio with others at large conspired among themselves to defraud a businessman, Mr Kayode Afolabi, of N1.1 million.
