IN a bid to contain the Covid-19 effects on businesses, the Office of Human Resources, Administration and Procurement, HRAP, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, has issued a temporary cessation of appointment to its workers effective from May 31.

The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library said that the employment would be put on hold till further notice.

In a letter dated May 30, 2020, Olanike Ogunleye, HRAP head, told some staff that until business picks up and they are recalled back to work, “Please note that you are not eligible for any payment during this period of cessation.”

“You are to handover all companies’ properties in your possession to the Human Resources Department, HR, who shall do a confirmation of the exit clearance process before your final entitlement (if any) will be paid,” she said.

She thanked the workers for the work they have done for the library before and wish them well. “On behalf of Management, we thank you for the services rendered in past,” Ogunleye said
