COVID-19: Oyo records 8 more cases

OYO State has recorded eight new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the latest figures released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

In the figures released by NCDC on Wednesday night, the eight cases in Oyo were among the newly 195 recorded in 13 states.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the new cases have brought the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the state to 52.

Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo, had on Wednesday evening, in his twitter handle, announced the discharge of two COVID-19 patients from the Infectious Disease Centre (IDC) at Olodo area in Ibadan, “after receiving their second negative test results”.

Makinde said the discharged patients brought the number of discharged cases in the state to 13. (NAN)
