THE University of Ilorin (Unilorin) on Monday stated that the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine would be administered to members of the university community.

In a statement signed by Dr Rasheed Odunola, the Director, Unilorin Health Services, said that the second jab of the COVID-19 vaccine was ready.

“This is to inform all members of the Unilorin community that took the first shots of the COVID-19 vaccine that the second phase is now ready for collection.

“In view of this, all those who have taken the first jab are to report at the Unilorin Health Centre on Monday (7th June) and Tuesday (8th June) for their second jabs,” he said.

Odunola however explained that only those who took the first jab are qualified for the second round.

He also appealed to the community to continue to adhere strictly to the preventive measures against COVID-19. (NAN)
