IN a move aimed at appreciating the support of Nigerians and complementing government efforts to boost domestic enterprise, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of its petrol from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.

The price reduction, which takes effect immediately, is a gesture of goodwill from the refinery as the year draws to a close.

According to Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, the move is a demonstration of the company’s commitment to the well-being of Nigerians.

“We are grateful for the support of the Nigerian people in making our refinery a reality,” Chiejina said.

“This price reduction is our way of showing appreciation and complementing the government’s efforts to encourage domestic enterprise.”

The refinery has assured customers of the best quality products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. It has also pledged to ramp up production to meet and surpass domestic fuel consumption, dispelling any fears of a shortfall in supply.

The price reduction is expected to bring relief to motorists and other users of petro, who have been grappling with high fuel prices in recent times. It is also seen as a boost to the Nigerian economy, which has been affected by the high cost of fuel.

With this move, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has demonstrated its commitment to the Nigerian market and its determination to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians.
