FAIRBANKS Morse, an EnPro Industries company, and leading provider of solutions that are powering the world forward, announced on Tuesday, July 25, that Deepak Navnith has been elevated to the top executive position within the company. As president, he will establish and lead the company’s visionary approach to delivering world-class power solutions. Navnith’s new role officially began May 1, 2018, and he replaced Marvin Riley, who was promoted to chief operating officer of EnPro Industries.
“Fairbanks Morse has a rich history of developing and manufacturing industry leading power generation solutions for a range of applications that power the U.S. Navy and nuclear power plants to a wide range of critical commercial power generation solutions at hospitals and municipalities. I’m proud, honored, and humbled to have the opportunity to lead one of America’s truly great companies and serve our customers,” Navnith said. “I look forward to leading the company into its next 100 years and working with our amazing team to write the next chapter of the Fairbanks Morse story.”
Since 2016, Navnith has served as Fairbanks Morse’s vice president of operations and was responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations for engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality assurance, and overall operations excellence. Prior to joining Fairbanks, he was an associate principal for McKinsey & Company, an international management and consulting firm. In that capacity he led manufacturing and advanced operations strategy for global clients in the aerospace, automotive, and hi-tech industries. Earlier in his career, Navnith spent over 10 years with Toyota in multiple operations leadership capacities and was program manager for all North American Toyota assembly plants. He received a Bachelor of Engineering from R. V. College of Engineering in Bangalore, India, and a Master of Science in manufacturing engineering from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
