–

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has quizzed Rear Admiral Alison Madueke (rtd.), husband of Diezani Alison-Madueke, former minister of petroleum minister, for several hours at its head office in Abuja, on Wednesday, February 17.

Madueke was invited by the EFCC following the discovery of about $600,000 in his personal accounts. He was granted administrative bail while his passport was seized by the EFCC which also asked him to return at a later date to answer more questions.

Oscar Onwudiwe, lawyer for the Madueke family, confirmed that Madueke was at the EFCC office although he had no idea the reason for the invitation.
