Delta hosts Bet9ja 2023 Teqball Tour with $3,000 up for grabs

DELTA State is set to host 16 state teams in the 2023 Teqball Tour coming up from April 10 to April 13.

Delta State Sports Media representative, Ogor Clackson, said in a statement on Tuesday that the teams would battle for $3000 prize.

The 2023 Teqball Tour, sponsored by Bet9ja, will feature five categories namely; Men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s double and mix double.

Teqball soccer curve board game is the fastest growing sport globally that is played by skillful footballers like a table tennis style.
Clackson advised all soccer teams in Nigeria to take advantage of this game as Nigeria is gradually contesting as world champion with their global ranking of Victor Oyemade.

Oyemade was placed 18th during the 2022 Delta State National Sports Festival demonstration game in December and is now 35th in the world ranking.(NAN)
