Dispatch rider docked for allegedly stealing motorcycle

A dispatch rider, Kabiru Haruna, 27, was on Thursday docked in a Karu Grade I Area Court in Abuja for allegedly stealing a Bajaj motorcycle worth N300, 000.
The police charged the defendant, who live in Kpaduma village, Asokoro extention with theft and mischief.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge
The Prosecution Counsel, Mr Olanrewaju Osho, told the court that the defendant stole the motorcycle where it was parked.
He said that the defendant confessed to the crime.
The Judge, Malam Umar Mayana, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum od N30, 000 and two sureties in like sum.
He adjourned the case until June 26 for further hearing. (NAN)
