ECONEC Delegation on Solidarity, Needs Assessment Visits to Senegal, Guinea, Bissau, Togo

An ECONEC delegation headed by governing board president, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu met in Dakar, Tuesday, July 31, with officials of Senegal’s Independent electoral commission, CENA, led by its President Doudou Ndir.

Fresh from the observation of Sunday’s presidential poll in Mali, the Yakubu-led delegation, which includes officials of Nigeria’s independent electoral commission, INEC, which he chairs, is on en route to Guinea Bissau, on Needs Assessment visit to that country’s electoral Commission and a solidarity visit to Togo’s independent electoral body before returning to Abuja.
