ECOWAS Humanitarian Field Assessment mission to Togo.

SITINKI Tarfa-Ugbe, Director of ECOWAS Commission’s Directorate of Humanitarian and Social Affairs led the ECOWAS field Validation team to some Communities in Kara, Northern Togo.

These communities are beneficiaries of the food and nutrition humanitarian support.

The assistances included the provision of tractors to plough their farms, seeds, fertilizers and training for some individuals on the use of new techniques and technology in agriculture.

The leaders of the Communities expressed their profound gratitude to ECOWAS for the humanitarian response, which was very timely and is expected improved their productivity and boast food security.
