ECOWAS Regional Competition Authority, ERCA, received Commissioner for Economic Affairs, Agriculture on working visit

THE ECOWAS Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Agriculture, Massandjé Toure-Litse, has paid a working visit to the ECOWAS Regional Competition Authority (ERCA in Banjul, The Gambia) on Friday, February 11, 2023.

She was accompanied to the ECOWAS Specialized Agency by ECOWAS Resident Representative to The Gambia, Miatta Liliy French.

The visit accorded the Commissioner the opportunity to meet with the staff of ERCA in an open dialogue on their day-day work.

During the visit, the Executive Director ERCA, Simeon Konan Koffi made a brief presentation on the mandate of ERCA, the important milestones reached since its establishment and the challenges faced by the Authority.  

Thereafter, the Commissioner expressed delight at meeting the staff to familiarise herself and gather first-hand information on the work conditions of ERCA.

She assured the meeting of the unflinching commitment of her office to the work of the Agency and encouraged the Executive Director and his staff to always count on her support.
