VOTING in Okaegben Ward one, Unit 3, Ewohimi, the polling unit of the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo, officially commenced at 10:45am in the ongoing governorship election in Edo

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the lateness was due late arrival of INEC officials.

When voting started, elderly men and women were given the priority to vote first before the youth.

Accreditation and voting are also ongoing in polling units 3 and 15, in Okaegben ward one, Ewohimi, in Esan South East Local Government of Edo.

Speaking with NAN shortly after voting, Pa Wilson Bello said the voting process was simple and very easy.

According to him, if INEC continues like this, voting would have ended by 2p.m.

A 91-old-man, Chief Honda Ikehide, who is the Eguaze of Ewohimi Kingdom and the eldest in the Ewohimi, said that the voting had been peaceful.

Ikehide urged the people to be orderly and patiently wait to vote for the candidate of the choice.(NAN)
