Government will continue to boost education in Anambra

Governor Willie Obiano has pledged that his administration will continue to provide basic facilities needed to further improve the education sector.

Obiano said this during a Holy Mass that he attended at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Chaplaincy, Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area.

The governor reassured of his resolve to further consolidate on the pillars, enablers and other policies of his administration.

He also pledged to continue to support Cordis Maria Secondary School, being managed by the Immaculate Sisters’ Congregation.

Samuel Nwadike, a reverend father and the chaplain, Immaculate Heart Convent, called on Christians to embrace Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation.

Mary Claude Oguh, a reverend mother and the superior-general, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mother of Christ Congregation, said Governor Obiano had recorded indelible remarks and high excellence in governance.

“Governor Obiano’s geometric development in education, agriculture and other sectors has proved his dedication toward making the state financially independent.

“This complex is for retired Rev Sisters of our congregation, and the governor has been ensuring the welfare of the Sisters.

“He has been so supportive and provided us with 250 KVA generating set and renovated most of our buildings,” Oguh remarked.

She assured that her congregation would contribute in boosting education system in the state.
