EFCC detains 21 suspected internet fraudsters in Yola

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), says it has apprehended 21 suspected internet fraudsters in Yola, Adamawa.

Its Spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, said this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said operatives of the Gombe Zonal Directorate of the Commission, nabbed the suspects on Sept. 24 , 2024, at different locations around Moddibo Adamawa University, Yola.

Oyewale listed the items recovered to include 13 iphones, 12 Android phones, one laptop and one tablet phone.

According to him, the suspects would soon be charged to court. (NAN)
