EID El-fitr celebration: CP Owolabi felicitates with Muslim community in Anambra

THE Anambra Commissioner of Police, Chris Owolabi, has felicitated with the Muslim Community Worldwide, especially in Anambra State on the celebration of Eid el-Fitr.

He also congratulated them on the successful completion of this year’s fasting and prayers (Ramadan).

In compliance with the Federal Government directive on Coronavirus prevention guidelines, Owolabi pleaded with them to celebrate responsibly and also use the period to pray for the peace and security of the state and the nation at large.

The Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement noted that the Command was collaborating with other security agencies and stakeholders within the state to provide adequate public security and safety during and after the festive period.

It urged residents of the state to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and in the event of distress, to call the Command’s Control room numbers 112, 07039194332 or 08039334002.

The statement re-assured confidentiality of information provided through these channels.
