THE Lagos State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Mrs Cecilia Dada, on Tuesday felicitated Muslims wishing them a peaceful and joyful Eid-el-Fitr.

Dada, in a statement by Eloho Aggreh, Assistant Director, Public Affairs Unit, (WAPA), also wished Lagos residents a happy celebration.

Dada, who called for peaceful co-existence in the state, advised women to “reflect on Ramadan lessons of compassion, unity, mutual respect and reflect on the teachings of the holy prophet.”

She also admonished women to remember the most vulnerable and poor among them.

She expressed hope that the holy season would ensure global peace. (NAN)
