Eight GEDs in NNPC Sacked

EMMANUEL Ibe Kachikwu, new group managing director, GMD, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, appears to have hit the ground running. He has started the surgical operation which will give birth to the new the NNPC. Realnews can authoritatively report that the corporate surgery in NNPC has seen all the eight group executive directors sacked.
Also the eight the directorate in the NNPC have been slashed to four.
The GEDs who are likely affected in the operation clean up NNPC include Ian Udoh, group executive Director, Refining & Petrochemicals, Adebayo Ibirogba, group executive director, Engineering and Technical, Bernard Otti, group executive director, Finance & Accounts, Aisha Abdurrahman, group executive director, Commerce & Investments, David Ige, group executive director, Gas & Power, Dan Efebo, group executive director, Corporate Services, Attahiru B. Yusuf, group executive director, Business Development, Ikechukwu Oguine, coordinator, Legal Services/Secretary to the Corporation)
Realnews had reported yesterday that before Kachikwu’s appointment was made official he had been a long-drawn meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari taken brief on what do once he has taken charge of the corporation that has been allegedly badly managed in the past.
