THE Ekiti state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated one of its members, Mr Yinka Oyebode, on his appointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Gov. Biodun Oyebanji.
The Chairman, Mr Rotimi Ojomoyela, said in a statement on Monday in Ado-Ekiti that the appointment attested to the diligence, hard work and professional conduct of Oyebode, having served twice in the same capacity.
Ojomoyela prayed God to give him the enablement to carry out the job effectively without blemish.
He also appreciated Gov. Oyebanji for the opportunity accorded Oyebode to serve.
Ojomoyela assured Oyebode that NUJ would give him all the necessary support and encouragement to succeed.
Oyebode’s announcement as Chief Press Secretary was made on Sunday evening immediately after the swearing-in of the new Governor.(NAN)
