THE Rector of Ekiti State Polytechnic (EKSPOLY), Isan-Ekiti, Dr Sunday Ajeigbe, has urged youths of its host  community to collaborate with the polytechnic’s management to promote the development of the institution.

Ajeigbe gave the advice on Wednesday when the leadership of the National Association of Isan Youths, led by its National Coordinator, Mr Sunday Bodunde, paid a courtesy visit to his office in Isan-Ekiti.

The Rector urged the youths to see the Polytechnic as their own project and contribute to its success.

He also highlighted some of the challenges facing the school, particularly the limited number of courses currently offered.

Ajeigbe assured them that efforts were in top gear to introduce 17 additional courses soon.

Earlier, Bodunde commended the Rector for his initiatives and commitment towards promoting the development of the Polytechnic.

He pledged the continued support of the association to the Polytechnic’s development within the community.

He also appealed to the management to consider qualified individuals from Isan-Ekiti for employment in future recruitment exercises,

particularly in the senior cadres.  (NAN)
