El-Rufai’s son Bello wins Reps seat

BELLO El-Rufa’i, Eldest Son of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State , has defeated a sitting member to win the House of Representatives seat for Kaduna North Federal Constituency.

Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated Samaila Suleiman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and current member representing Kaduna North federal constituency.

According to the Returning Officer , Professor Muhammed Magaji, Bello El-Rufa’i polled 51,052 votes to defeat the PDP candidate who had 34,808 votes.- (vanguard)
