Election petition tribunal constituted in Ondo

THE Ondo State National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has been constituted.

This is contained in a statement issued  by the Secretary of the tribunal, Mr Musa Adam, on Thursday in Akure.

“In line with the provisions of Section 130 (3) (b) of the Electoral Act, 2022, the honourable president of the Court of Appeal has constituted the Ondo State National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal.

“In view of the above, notice is hereby given to the general public that the Ondo State National and State House of Assembly Election Tribunal has been constituted and that the secretariat of the tribunal is open for business,” Adam said.

He said that the tribunal would sit at the Ondo State High Court 2 at the  High Court Complex, Akure, from  7.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. (NAN)
