THE Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has rejoiced with President Muhammadu Buhari on the occasion of his 80th birthday, today,  December 17, 2022.

Sulu-Gambari, who spoke in a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, described President Buhari as gentleman, who has the love of Nigerians and Nigerian nation at heart.

The monarch maintained that the President has despite prevailing challenges, continued “calmly and with uncommon dignity to steer the ship of Nigeria with strong will and uncommon commitments”.

On behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Sulu-Gambari commended President Buhari for the numerous feats that he has recorded since his assumption in office as Nigeria’s democratically elected President in 2015 as well as many more positions of authority which he has held that pre-dates this period.

“Your Excellency, the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council rejoice and congratulate you on this auspicious day of your 80th birthday celebrations, which reflect your calmness and uncommon dignity, to steer the ship of Nigeria to greater heights among the comity of nations.

“We pray Almighty Allah to continue to strengthen you with sound health and comfort in order to achieve more for our dear country,” the statement said.
