Ene emerges Chairman, Actors Guild Chairmen’s Forum

THE Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Chairmen’s Forum has elected AGN Chairman, Enugu State, Brown Ene, as the new chairman of the forum.

Ene, who said this in a statement he personally issued in Enugu on Monday, stated that the forum had dissolved its existing leadership and ordered the election of a new executives.

He noted that the new executive members were elected during a meeting of the forum, held on July 28, in Asaba, Delta.

“After the dissolution, nominations were made and voting conducted to elect new executives for the AGN Chairmen’s Forum.

“The following members were elected as members of the new executive:

“Comrade Brown Ene (Enugu) was elected as Chairman; Amb. Patience Ezekiel (Adamawa) -Deputy Chairman; Prince Wilson Kingsley (Nasarawa) -Secretary; and Comrade Palmsilver Sikpo (Akwa Ibom) -Financial Secret,” he said.

Ene added that the AGN chairmen during their deliberations, appreciated the AGN National President, Emeka Rollas and the his Management Team for their good job.

According to him, the forum’s chairmen commended Rollas for introducing the bye-laws and assured him of the forum’s commitment to implementing the AGN Code of Ethics in the country.

“Your choice of me as the Chairman of AGN Chairmen’s Forum humbles me and I promise to lead us to greater heights and accomplish all that we set out to do.

“You have shown that you believe in my capabilities and I will endeavour to meet your expectations. Thank you for believing in me,” Ene said.
