Enefe commiserates with Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka over death of student

EKENE Enefe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, commiserated with staff and students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, over death of Francis Mmadubuobi, a student of the institution.
Enefe, from Ogbunike, Oyi Local Government Area in statement released by Harris Chuma, his spokesman, described the incident as `sad and unfortunate’.
It said the death of Mmadubuobi caused immense grief and created irreplaceable gap in the institution.
Mmadubuobi, a student of the Department of Applied Microbiology and Brewing, slumped while playing basketball.
It added: “the unprecedented solidarity demonstrated by fellow students to Late Francis Mmadubuobi proved he was a good man.’’
“Within his short years on earth, Late Mmadubuobi touched many lives and the positive impact he made while alive will remain indelible,” the statement said.
It commended the institution’s management for setting up a committee to investigate the immediate and remote cause of death of `the promising student.’
