
Enyimba target win against Lobi in Markudi

COACH of Enyimba International FC of Aba, Finidi George says the target of his team against Lobi Stars away in Markudi is a win.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Enyimba will take on Lobi on Sunday at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi in the ongoing 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League ( NPFL) Match day 29 fixture.
George stated this while adressing newsmen on Saturday ahead of the crucial game.
He said that his team will not leave any stone unturned in the team’s quest to grab the maximum points.
The coach said they will do their best to consolidate their position on the league table.
“The league been what it is, with 10 more games to be played and looking at our position , we want to get a good result ,infact we are going for a win.
“Definitely we do not know how the outcome will look like by tommorow but we are going for victory.
“We are going to approach the game to win because we do not want to speculate or say at the end of the game this happened and that happened.
“We will play the game as if we are playing at home,”he said.
George said that h will not be happened to lose the match but he will be pleased if the players play well.
“We are going to put in our best to get the maximum points off Lobi.
“I am optimistic that if we play the way we did against Kano Pillars in our last match, we have a chance in the match,” George said.
NAN reports that Enyimba and Lobi Stars are on second and third position on the league table, tied on 48 points with Enyimba having superior goals after 29 matches.(NAN)
