EPL: Man City claim fourth successive Premier League title, Arsenal lose out

MANCHESTER City brushed aside West Ham 3-1 at Etihad Stadium to become the first team to win the English league title four seasons in a row.
City required a win to win the title and their fate were firmly in their hands unlike that needed West Ham to do them a favour of either winning or picking a draw.
Arsenal did win 2-1 against Everton but their victory paled into insignificance due to City’s win with Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kai Havert cancelling out an Idrissa Gueye goal from a free kick.
Arsenal were in imperious form heading into the final day of the season but City’s machine never seemed to getting slow as they crushed all opposition on their way since Arsenal slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
Phil Foden’s double and a strike by Rodri were all Pep Guardiola’s side needed albeit Mohamed Kudus gave the Hammers a slim hope of getting a good result.
