THE Police in Lagos on Thursday arraigned the administrator of Olorunda Estate Residents Association (OLERA), Alapere-Ketu, Lagos, Oluyemi Abayomi, for allegedly stealing N3.9 million.
Abayomi, 47, resident of Adepitan Street, Ogudu, Lagos, is standing trial in an Ogudu Magistrates’ Court on a two-count of conspiracy and stealing.
The prosecutor, Insp Donjour Perezi, told the court that the defendant, being the administrator of the estate’s CDA, on Aug. 5, stole the sum of N3.9 million entrusted in his care.
He said the President of the Olorunda Estate Residents Association, Mr Olalekan Oladunjoye, reported the incident at the Area Commander’s office, Area H, Ogudu, on behalf of the residents.

The offences contravened sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
