The European Union will start charging import duties of 25 per cent on a range of United States products from June 22.
The charge comes after Washington imposed tariffs on EU steel and aluminium at the start of June, the European Commission said on Wednesday.
The Commission formally adopted a law putting in place the duties on 2.8 billion euros (3.2 billion dollars) worth of U.S. goods, including bourbon and motorbikes. ($1 = 0.8652 euros) (Reuters//NAN)
