Ex Gov. Nyako of Adamawa revalidates APC membership

FORMER Governor  Murtala Nyako of Adamawa has revalidated his All Progressives  Congress (APC ) membership.

Nyako revalidated his membership at his electoral ward in Mayo Belwa Local Government Area (LGA) of the state on Monday.

Speaking shortly after the event, the former governor expressed optimism that the party would reclaim the state in the 2023 governorship poll.

“I am very optimistic that APC has the chance of winning election in Adamawa and Nigeria at large come 2023.

“The situation we are facing in the country concerning COVID-19, poverty and security challenge is very bad.

“We are praying for divine intervention to bring lasting peace and a solution for the unity and progress of our dear country Nigeria,’’ Nyako said.

He urged party faithful and those wishing to join the party to register and validate their membership.(NAN)
