THE National Examination Council (NECO) has reiterated its commitment to zero tolerance for examination malpractice.
This is coming on the allegations of some infractions in the just concluded 2020 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).

Its Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Mr Azeez Sani, made the commitment known in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

Sani said the council received an alert of some infractions at one of the examination centres, Fabian Kings and Queens International School, Kabala West, Kaduna with Centre Number (0140721) by the authorities of Signature Television.

According to him, based on the council’s zero tolerance for examination malpractice, it swung swiftly into action by flagging the centre, identifying and isolating all the candidates’ scripts for scrutiny.

He said that the council commended the authorities of Signature Television for their interest in ensuring the sanctity of public examination and enjoined stakeholders to emulate this gesture.
