Faction Emerges in Jigawa APC

INDICATIONS have continue to emerged in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Jigawa state chapter with the emergence of Hashimiyya movement, vowed to support the candidature of President Muhammad Buhari only in the 2019 election.
Pharmists Ubale Hashim, a gubernatorial candidate at the 2015 gubernatorial elections under the APC contested with the current governor of the state, he has however declared to withdraw his support to the governor come 2019 elections in the state.
Ubale Hashim made the declaration over the weekend in a press conference he held alongside other party big-wigs said, “I’m formally anouncing my support to only President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 pills and no any other candidate will enjoy this support from the ‘Hashimiya’ movement”, he declared.
According to Hashim who lambasted governor Badaru for betrayal of trust to the party supporters who have worked for his victorious at the 2015 polls inspite series of promises he had earlier took that were never kept by him.
His words:-, “The emergence of Badaru Abubakar as governor of Jigawa state was not the popular view of all members of the party but for the sake of peace to reign we supported the governor but along the line we realised that the present administration in the state is no longer popular to continue with the APC agenda”.
Ubale Hashim explained that twice the governor had visited him and both agreed to sheath their differences for the general interest of the people of the state however declared that the governor has refused to keep his part of the promise.
He stated further that his loyalty and support will only be to president Buhari insisting that governor Muhammed Badaru Abubakar has not regain the honour for his vote again. When contacted special assistant to the governor on social media, Auwal Danladi Sankara said there was never a time that Governor Badaru failed to honour any of the promises made to the people of the state.
Sankara said every in the state knows that Hashim was never a supporter of this government rather he was only chasing his selfish motives part is that he wants the governor to mediate for his reinstatement as the Chairman board of NAFDAC a position he occupied prior to this administration”.
His words:- “If his claims were genuinely for the interest of the people, he ought to have mentioned where the governor has failed to execute certain projects after he has promised to do so”. – Vanguard
