THE initiators of Twins Tourism, Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye, have lauded Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on the appointment of Chief Ademola Ojo as his new Deputy Chief of Staff.

This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the twins and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ojo, a former Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Oyo State, was on Friday appointed as Makinde’s Deputy Chief of Staff.

The Ibarapa-born politician was a House of Representatives candidate on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in the 2019 general elections.

The famous twins named Tourism Ambassadors, described Ojo’s appointment by the governor as “a brilliant move of the moment” .

They expressed confidence that Ojo would join Makinde in successfully steering the present administration to the end, while playing constructive role in the government.

“We know you have worked hard to reach this point and we are so happy that you’ve been recognised for your accomplishment with this new assignment.

“We write to congratulate you and to express our deep joy on your appointment to the exalted office of the Deputy Chief of Staff by our dynamic Gov. Seyi Makinde,” the twins said.

They urged Ojo to remember that the appointment comes with great responsibilities and unconventional demands requiring “candor, discipline, professionalism, loyalty, focus, diligence, as well as high level of service”.

The twins said: “Your credentials, pedigree, experience and career trajectory, both locally and globally, speak to your capacity.

“As prominent promoters of Twins Tourism and Igbo-ora World Twins Festival, we are excited about your appointment.”(NAN)
