FEC mourns death of former minister of Labour

THE Secretary to the Government of the Federation/Chairman, Presidential Transition Council (PTC), Boss Mustapha, CFR, on behalf of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), mourns the death of the former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe, aged 86.

Gwadabe, who was a minister during the tenure of former President Olusegun Obasanjo was first appointed Minister of Solid Minerals Development, before being re-assigned to the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Productivity and also served as the Secretary to the Kano State Government under Governor Sabo Bakin Zuwa from October to December 1983. 

SGF described him as a seasoned politician, technocrat, philanthropist and development expert. 

Until his death, he was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Board Chairman, Industrial Training Fund (ITF). His remains have been buried in Kano in line with Muslim rites.

FEC commiserates with the Government and people of Kano State, his family, and prays to God to grant him Aljanah Firdaus.
