Federal University Gashua mourns late Dorcas Alabi

THE Students Representative Council, SRC, of the Federal University Gashua, Yobe State, is mourning the death of Dorcas Alabi. Before her death in a car accident, Alabi was a 200 level student in the Department of Computer Science in the university.

A statement signed by the Muhammad Gamawa, acting SRC president and made available to Realnews today, started: “With deepest sympathy and shock, I on behalf of the good students of Federal University Gashua,  Yobe State, wish to extends our concerned condolence to the family of our beloved sister and a colleque ALABI DORCAS, who before her demise was a student of 200 level from the Department of Computer Science,  Faculty Of Sciences, Federal University Gashua.

According to Gamawa, “The deceased lost her life in a car accident that occurred along Kano-Gashua road on her way back to school from the mid-semester break from Ogbomosho, Osun State.”

“We pray for her soul to rest in perfect peace and may her family and the University Community have the strength to bear this mighty lost. We pray for the avoidance of future accurrence. May her gentle soul will continue to rest in peace. Accept our deepest condolence please,”  the statement said.
