FG approves enhanced salaries for staffers of Federal Tertiary Institutions

THE Staff of All Federal Tertiary Institutions in the country will begin to earn more as President Bola Tinubu approves the implementation of 35% and 23% of Salary increment.

This is contained in a circular signed by Ekpo U. O. Nta, Chairman, National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission and addressed to the Minister of Education.

According to the circular dated September 14, 2023, the approved increment pertains to the four salary structures in the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education for information.

The Commission also expressed continuous support to all efforts aimed at repositioning the education sector.
