FG hikes price of petrol to N151.56

THE Pipeline Products Marketing Company, PPMC, has announced a new price for petrol in the country. The PPMC said from September 2, 2020, the litre of fuel would now sell

for N151.56.

In an internal memo signed by D.O. Abalaka, depot manager, PPMC, the commission said: Please be informed that a new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform. To this end, the price of premium motor spirit, PMS, is now one hundred and fifty one naira, fifty six kobo, N151.56 per litre. This is effective

September 2.

Shortly after the memo signed by Abalaka, the PPMC released another memo signed by Onya Schola, saying that PPMC has reviewed the ex-depot price petrol to N147.67. It added that for automotive gas oil (AGO), also known as diesel, the ex-Lagos PDO was put at N165, while for those operating in transfer points like Oghara, Calabar, Portharcourt and others, the price was put at N160.
