Thirteen individuals won N20 million; while 12 individuals were rewarded with consolation prizes such as generating sets and refrigerators.
The promo, which kicked off in August 2016, according to the bank, was in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) financial inclusion drive.
So far the bank has given out a total of N105 million and 108 consolation prizes to 171 customers of the bank.
At the final draw ceremony, Chief Executive Officer, Fidelity Bank Plc, Nnamdi Okonkwo restated the bank’s commitment to reward customers for their loyalty and patronage.
Okonkwo who was represented by the Regional Bank Head, Apapa, Obaro Odeghe said the promo which was specifically geared towards promoting savings culture amongst Nigerians was very successful.
“It demonstrates our commitment to enrich the lives of our loyal customers. With what we have done in the last nine months, a lot of customers have keyed into the promo and as a matter of fact, we have also grown the bank’s savings position through this process as well.
“This is a continuous exercise and there would be several other promos from this bank,” he explained.
He added: “The Fidelity helmsman particularly noted the contributions and feedbacks from the bank’s customers which went a long way in making the campaign a huge success and thanked them for their unalloyed support and patronage.”
At the conclusion of every promo, we try to get feedback from customers. Our customers, honestly, are very excited about our promos, because we keep our promise of monetary and consolation prizes without fail, from start to finish.”
Alex Malomo Shaibu, one of the star prize winners (N3 million) who was contacted via phone call expressed gratitude to the bank for transforming his life.
Some other winners included Lawal Abimbola Bakare, and Abumere /Oni Sunday who won N5 million and N2 million respectively.
Similarly, Uche Theresa Sewuese, Mohammed Kabir Abubakar, Olowu Messiah Maduagwu Oni Joy all smiled home with N1 million each.
Since the commencement of the promo, about N105 million and 108 consolation prizes have been given away to customers.
To maintain transparency, the draw was conducted under the close supervision of the Consumer Protection Council, National Lottery Regulatory Commission and representatives of the Lagos State Lotteries Board. – The Citizen
