The current season’s Champions League winners will get the prize of dashing £100million. The prize fund all in all consists of almost £1.71billion for the next three years. Every club taking part in the competition is guaranteed £13.34m minimum.

Each victory earned in the group stage is worth £2.36m (up from £1.35m last season) while a draw will earn clubs £787,000 (up from £538,000).

If you reach the stage of last-16, it will add £8.31m (up from £5.4m) for each club. If you reach quarter-finals, it’s adding £9.19m (up from £5.84m).

Final four will take home £10.5m (up from £6.73m) more. Those teams which will go all the way to the final will pocket additional £13.2m (up from £10m). Finally, the winners will get additional extra £3.5m.

Although it’s less then Real Madrid got this year – £4.5m. A portion of the total fund will be paid out based on each club’s co-efficient ranking which is based on their performances over the last 10 years.

Real Madrid are ahead here so they will receive an additional £35m. And the bottom-ranked club in the competition will bank £970,000. – Sport Village Square
