Fire at Dangote Refinery under control - Official

THE fire incident at the Dangote effluent treatment plant has been put under control, according to Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding & Communications Officer, Dangote Industries Limited.
A statement signed by Chiejina, said that there was no cause for alarm as the refinery “is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to any of our staff on duty”.
“The fire which broke out at the plant on Wednesday was swiftly contained,” the statement added.
