Five rescued as building collapses in Abuja

A building under construction has collapsed in the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Abuja.

The collapsed four bedroom flat, according to an eyewitness, is located around Aso Savings Bank in Kubwa village.

The collapse occurred around 11:pm on Thursday, an eyewitness told our correspondent.

About five people have been rescued while efforts are on to rescue the rest.

Rescue officials were already on ground at the time of filing this report.

The casualty is yet to be ascertained.
